NANO BROWS

Nano Brows, a new semi-permanent technology where the needle is extremely thin, help achieve the finest hairlines that look fine and natural along with smooth and intensive coloring that can be flexible in length and curves. There are many advantages of this technology such as perfect lines that can be drawn effortlessly, minimization of cuts on the surface of the skin, reduced risk of scarring, high quality, and beautiful results.

Nano brows are created with one single needle and a permanent makeup device. Similar to a conventional tattoo machine (although nowhere near as intense or painful!), the device is then used to provide controlled movement as it dispenses pigment into the skin.

WHO SHOULD GET THE NANO BROWS?

Machine Nano Brows are a solution for people of all ages and skin types. 

It is also great as a treatment before or after chemotherapy. Some people do not grow their brows back after chemotherapy. Having the machine nano brow procedure performed before chemo establishes a brow shape that will remain with the resulting loss of hair.

You should always schedule a consultation prior to your appointment. Many cosmetic tattoo studios can complete a consultation by phone with images shared via text or facetime.

Here are some reasons why you may not be a candidate for nano brows:

  • Previously tattooed brows will always require consultation.

There are a few temporary skin conditions that can prohibit an artist from performing nano brows until after healing:

  • Active acne spots in the brow area.

  • Unhealed cuts or wounds in the brow area.

  • Active eczema in the brow area.

  • Sunburn or excessively flaky, dry skin

OUR PROCESS

A NANO brows appointment lasts 2 to 2.5 hours .A touch up appointment lasts anywhere from 90 minutes depending on the amount of work that needs touching up.

A standard appointment will have the following steps:

  • The brow artist will shape and style the client’s brows for client approval. Brows are measured perfectly to complement your unique face shape and size. The outline always look thicker than the final result. Its better to draw a bit thicker since the shape will shrink 10 to 20% once the brows healed

  • Next, the artist chooses the perfect ink colour to match your eyebrows hair.

  • Anesthetic cream is applied to reduce any discomfort 

  • Initial strokes are placed

  • Pigment is worked into each stroke to define the brow.

  • Once that's finished, the artist cleans the area thoroughly.

  • Photography. 

  • After the service, the artist will provide client with an After care package to use for 7 days . 

  • Nano Brows  Procedure typically requires a second touch up appointment, because all client’s skin is different and receives the ink differently. 

BEFORE PROCEDURE CARE

  • Do not drink coffee, alcohol or energizing drinks 24hr prior to your appointment

  • Do not take Aspirin, Niacin, Vitamin E or Ibuprofen 24 hours before treatment.

  • Do not take omega3 (fish oil) 1 week before treatment.

  • Do not tan or have intense sun exposure at least 2 weeks before treatment.

  • No waxing/threading at least 1 week before treatment.

  • No chemical peels, dermabrasion, laser or any other intense treatments 2 weeks before treatment.

  • Shower and fix your hair as you need to take extra care not to get your brows wet for several days.

AVOID

  • Keep your face directly out of the shower stream & do your best to carefully wash hair and keep face as dry as possible. Keep clean, dry paper towels on hand to pat dry if they accidentally get moist. Also keep showers brief, as too much steam can harm brows as well. If you’d like, you can get shower caps to cover both your hair and eyebrows.

  • When washing your face, be sure not to splash water onto your face like we normally do. Instead wet a paper towel or fragrance free baby wipes to wash AROUND the brows, making sure they stay dry and clean.

  • Do not apply any cosmetics on your brows for AT LEAST 7 days. It will damage and ruined the result.
    Be patient!

  • No heavy exercising or sweating for at least 10 days post procedure. If you want the best color and detail retention, this is crucial.

  • After 7 days you may wash your face normally, including your brows! with a gentle face wash, such as Cetaphil.
