HEALING PROCESSING

This is what you might expect during the healing phase:

DAY 1-2

  • What you see is about 20-40% darker, bolder and more solid than what your healed result will present. And the skin is red, and pigment has been deposited into the layer of skin containing dead skin cells; combined giving the appearance of a darker color. There may be minimal swelling.

DAY 3-4

  • The top layers of skin will begin to shed on about day 3-5, and you will see a loss of color. Your eyebrows may begin to itch, and the pigment may appear somewhat raised. You will see a loss some of pigments where the scabs come off.

DAY 5-7

  • The skin is now in the throes of rapid exfoliation and if left alone, will shed evenly.   The color under the exfoliating skin will continue to appear light until the epidermis takes on its more transparent characteristics.

DAY 10-15

  • Your eyebrows are healing and you will see the pigment lighter than day 1. Every individual is different, and this approximate timeline is just that, an approximate and can vary from person to person.

  • Cosmetic tattoo is an art, not a science. Your results will vary and using eyebrow makeup may still be needed after 15 days, especially when wearing heavy coverage makeup. No two sides of the face are the same or perfectly symmetrical and nothing is guaranteed or 100% perfect.
